Advanced Acupuncture, Inc. was established in 1984 with two modern medical facilities, one in Arcadia and the other in Santa Monica. We are dedicated to providing alternative medicine for natural pain management and many other common health challenges.

Dr. Cathryn Hu and her staff, a team of formally trained Doctors of Oriental Medicine from China, are experienced in providing acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping and oriental massage to treat many chronic diseases. We work with our patients’ primary physicians, as well as lawyers and insurance adjusters to speed your recovery and reach maximum improvement. Dr. Hu has advanced training in orthopedic acupuncture and was appointed by the Industrial Medical Council as a Qualified Medical Examiner, serving since 1994.

Our staff is familiar in dealing with Worker Compensation procedures and Personal Injury cases. The uniqueness of our practice is that in addition to quality care, we also offer wellness classes that introduce integrated Eastern and Western medical approaches and self-care techniques every month.
